Use only the recommended battery type!
When inserting the battery ensure the correct polarity!
This is indicated in the battery compartment.
If necessary, clean the batteries and device contacts
before inserting the batteries!
Promptly remove drained batteries from the product!
Before Initial Use
Inserting the batteries
Open the battery cover 17 by sliding it in the direction
of the arrow.
Insert the included batteries. Ensure correct polarity.
This is always indicated inside the battery compartment
(Fig. B).
Connecting headphones
Plug the stereo jack of the included headphones into the
radio‘s headphones jack 16 . Only use the included
headphones. The headphones connection cable also
serves as a radio aerial.
